Technology advisory for consequential decisions

A technology choice can commit capital, data and operating capacity for years. ACQUAIRIS is an independent executive advisory boutique for larger enterprises that need a clear basis for those choices.

Discuss a decision

Start with the commitment under discussion

Selecting a platform, approving AI for production or changing an architecture are business decisions with technical consequences. The first question is what the organisation is about to authorise, what outcome it expects and which alternatives remain open.

Our work connects strategy, architecture, data and risk to support that decision. A supplier proposal, a completed pilot, a changing priority or a dependency threatening execution can be the starting point. Each situation calls for its own evidence and depth of review.

Before contracting
Examine requirements and claims, compare alternatives and make dependencies, operating costs and exit conditions explicit.
Before production or expansion
Check whether available learning supports the intended use, with clear ownership and operating conditions.
When the context changes
Revisit priorities, assumptions and risks when new evidence changes the basis of the agreed direction.

A bounded assessment or support for the executive agenda

AI Decision Gate focuses on one AI initiative and one specific decision. Enterprise AI advisory helps leadership examine priorities, investment choices and coherence across initiatives. Governance and architecture are dimensions of that assessment, shaped by the situation.

In the approach presented by ACQUAIRIS, ACQUA structures understanding before commitment. Once a direction is agreed, IRIS and the Execution Blueprint help organise scope, ownership, dependencies and sequence. Delivery remains with the organisation’s teams and chosen partners.

An independent perspective alongside your teams

The supplier understands its solution; internal teams understand the operation and its constraints. An independent assessment brings those perspectives together and examines whether the evidence supports the proposed commitment. The recommendation must be able to support proceeding, setting conditions or not proceeding.

This support does not transfer responsibility for the decision. Leadership defines objectives and boundaries, accountable teams contribute information, and approval remains with the organisation. Scope, access to documentation, team participation and working arrangements are agreed around the actual need.
